Flea And Tick Control
Fleas and ticks can make life miserable not only for your pets, but for you and your family too. They are not only a nuisance; fleas and ticks can cause a number of diseases in pets and humans, including dermatitis, tapeworms, anemia, and Lyme disease. If you have an infestation in your yard, let Lawn Masters help you get it taken care of quickly and effectively.
To get rid of fleas, ticks, chiggers, and other biting insects, and keep them away, our lawn technicians will spray your yard monthly. This treatment will be done for 6 months, starting in April and going through September, which is the length of flea season. Occasionally, it can last until October, but customers who have been on our program for a year or two don’t see this happen.
Enjoy The Outdoors Again
Of course, pests don’t only appear when it’s convenient, so if you notice a problem any time of the year, we can begin monthly treatments. We strongly encourage customers to continue the tick and flea control treatment each year to prevent them from returning. Gaps in coverage only give them a chance to come back. Fleas and ticks are always looking for new hosts and will take any chance they get to latch onto pets or humans. Often, squirrels and raccoons that are infested with fleas or ticks will pay a nighttime visit to your yard and drop off their unwanted guests. If you notice any issues between monthly treatments, our technicians will come back and respray at no cost to you.
Take back your yard! Kick pests to the curb with Lawn Masters’ Flea and Tick Control program and enjoy the outdoors again!
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this treatment really safe for my pets?
Yes, we care deeply about the safety of our customers and their furry friends. The treatment we use is a common product used by veterinarians when they are doing flea dips, so it is safe for your pets.
How long do I need to stay off the lawn after treatment?
The spray should dry within 30 minutes. After it’s dry, you’re safe to go back on your lawn. On a sunny day, it’s usually dry by the time we leave your property.
Do I need to keep my pet inside while you’re spraying?
Yes, it’s important you keep your pet inside or otherwise out of the yard while we are working. Many times, our customers will have us come in the morning so they can let their pets out again during their lunch hour.
How long does it take to apply the treatment?
The length of time it takes to apply the treatment varies depending on how big your yard is. Typically, it only takes around 10-15 minutes for an average-sized yard. That may seem quick, but we’ve had a lot of practice!
What if it rains the night after you do the treatment or the next day? Will it wash away the treatment?
No, once the treatment has dried (after about 30 minutes), it’s good to go! Unless there is extreme weather like flooding, rain should not impact the effectiveness of the treatment. We guarantee each treatment for 30 days, so if you have a problem between visits, we are happy to come back and reapply if necessary at no extra charge.
